A glimmer... Although I am not really a Deaniac, his speech at GWU piqued my interest. He said "honesty is a moral value". I can hardly be inspired by anything the Dems have come up with since the debacle, and I really loathe their attempts to suddenly jump on the "moral values" bandwagon, but this is a wonderfully refreshing critique of the powers that be. My tendency nowadays is to simply stand aside and watch hopefully for the conservatives to implode. Who are our allies now? I see most of the rest of the world as gritting their teeth at our arrogant belligerence and rolling their eyes at our smug "morality". We have elected leaders who are making this the land of the fear and the home of the 'fraid.
