Juan Cole this morning on "Democracy Now!"... insomniac that I've become these days, I saw a post about this show and navigated to DN before it was even set to air, but I will return to watch it online. If you are hungry for what Professor Cole calls "informed comment," on the Middle East from a scholar who can actually understand the language spoken in that part of the world, I recommend your tuning in. I imagine the show will be archived; I know that ITunes enables you to download DN programs. Avoiding the fog of war is nearly impossible, but Professor Cole contributes a great deal of light, rather than mere heat, on the subject.
