Picking the winner of Tuesday's Presidential debate was a no-brainer.  On the one hand was the articulate, intelligent Obama; on the other, the old-school politician/bullshitter, shuffling around the stage like a dazed buffalo, John McCain.  With a choice so obvious, it should come as no surprise that the poll numbers are trending toward an Obama win.  However, the sleaze element is also bubbling to the surface.  Analysts have noted again the use of the libel that Obama is a Muslim, and within the bloc of "undecideds", there is an ugly pack of folks who just declare that they can't vote for a black man.  So, this election may just turn out to be a referendum on whether we Americans are more terrified of the ongoing implosion of our country or of electing a black man as President.
